“Slowtwitch Road Show” Rides into the TRI-MANIA Summit & Expo, Showcasing Best New Triathlon Gear, Industry Star Power

Boston, Mass. – February 16, 2016 – Sun Multisport Events today announced the Slowtwitch Road Show will be pulling into Boston for the 13th annual TRI-MANIA Summit and Expo – “the epicenter of all things triathlon” – on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Boston University’s Fit Rec Center. TRI-MANIA, developed in partnership with the USA Triathlon Northeast Regional Council, is the northeast’s premier gathering dedicated to educating, equipping and inspiring triathletes and kicking off the new multisport season.

slowtwitch-roadshow-slideSlowtwitch founder, industry veteran and USA Triathlon Hall of Famer Dan Empfield will be at the helm of the Slowtwitch Road Show Pavilion that will be part of the TRI-MANIA expo.  The Slowtwitch Pavilion will showcase the latest triathlon gear from some of the biggest brands in the sport, including SRAM, Zipp, Trek, Hoka One One, Cannondale, Cobb Cycling, Powertap and CycleOps.

Empfield will be joined in the Slowtwitch Pavilion by other industry leaders and innovators including John Cobb, founder of Cobb Cycling. In addition to demos and clinics, the Slowtwitch Road Show will bring its unique processes to help riders quickly discover their optimal saddles and bikes.

Later, Landry’s Bicycles will host a hospitality event at its Boston store, directly across the street from the BU Fit Rec Center, home of TRI-MANIA, with Slowtwitch staff greeting Slowtwitchers.

The addition of the Slowtwitch Road Show Pavilion to the already packed TRI-MANIA Summit & Expo line-up promises an unequaled attendee experience that also includes a keynote presentation by Mike Reilly, the “Voice of IRONMAN,”; seminars and clinics led by top coaches and experts, including elite coach Joe Friel, renowned sports medicine physician and best-selling author, Dr. Jordan Metzl, founder of Total Immersion Terry Laughlin and others.
