RACE-MANIA Summit and Expo adds Ledlenser Trails in Motion Film Festival to programming line-up
February 26, 2019 – Sun Multisport Events today announced that the Ledlenser Trails in Motion Film Festival has been added to the programming line-up at the 2019 RACE-MANIA Summit and Expo to be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Boston University Fit Rec Center in Boston, MA. RACE-MANIA is the Northeast’s premier gathering dedicated to educating, equipping and inspiring endurance athletes preparing for a new season.
Trails in Motion is an annual international film and content showcase that presents a collection of the finest trail and ultra running films available to passionate audiences around the world. Trails in Motion consists of five short films that feature inspiring runners, breathtaking scenery and iconic trails and events including the legendary Barkley Marathons. The films will be shown beginning at 4:20pm in the state-of-the-art Dance Theater at the BU Fit Rec Center and the festival is locally sponsored by Barn to Run, New England’s first and only farm-based trail race series, and Move Free, a lifestyle brand designed to inspire adventure and give back to the planet.

The 2019 RACE-MANIA Summit and Expo is keynoted by 2018 Boston Marathon winner Des Linden who will be interviewed by endurance sports legend and Boston Marathon Race Director, Dave McGillivray. Other 2019 speakers include Mike Reilly, the Voice of IRONMAN; Hunter Allen, world renowned cycling coach with Peaks Coaching Group; Meredith Atwood, the Swim Bike Mom; and others. The event features 20+ seminars, clinics and workshops, plus multiple competitive events and an expo with 75+ sponsors and exhibitors and is expected to draw 2,000 attendees.
